Creating Learning That Sticks

For over 15 years, we've been designing learning experiences that create lasting change. We work with schools, organisations, and communities to craft workshops, courses, and resources that engage deeply and shift perspectives. We approach each project as artists of learning—carefully building transformative experiences that stick with people long after they end.

Our Current Focus

AI Fluency

AI Fluency is the ability to collaborate with AI systems effectively, efficiently, ethically, and safely.

Workshop participants collaborating

AI is already reshaping how we learn, teach, and work. Whether you're an educator, school leader, or organizational professional, AI fluency matters—not just knowing about AI, but leading with it confidently, responsibly, and well.

We focus on Anthropic's 4D Framework developed by Drs. Rick Dakan and Joseph Feller, ensuring AI use is effective, efficient, ethical, and safe. Our approach builds the practical skills needed to delegate tasks to AI, describe needs clearly, discern quality outputs, and demonstrate diligence in responsible use.

Grounding Your Organization in AI Fluency

Tailored programs for leaders, schools, and organizations ready to lead with confidence

Leading with AI Fluency workshop

Leading with AI Fluency

This leadership workshop emerged from a simple observation: school leaders need their own AI fluency to guide their communities effectively. We designed it for principals, deputies, and senior teams who are navigating AI conversations with staff, parents, and learners—often without a clear framework to lean on.

The workshop centers on Anthropic's 4D Framework, giving leaders a practical lens for ethical AI decision-making. Through hands-on practice, participants develop the ability to recognize both strong and problematic AI use, and build confidence in facilitating meaningful conversations across their school communities.

AI Navigators Programme

School AI Navigators

Schools need internal AI expertise—teams who understand both the technology and their specific community context. The AI School Navigator programme builds this capacity from within, rather than relying on external consultants who may not fully grasp your school's culture and needs.

We start with an intensive two-day workshop that equips a school-based team with the tools and frameworks to guide thoughtful AI integration. But the real work happens afterward. Throughout the year, Navigator teams receive ongoing implementation support and connect with other schools in a community of practice—sharing what's working, troubleshooting challenges, and learning from each other's experiences. The training is practical and grounded in the realities of your school context.

We're currently supporting our first cohort of seven AI Navigator teams across the Western Cape. As this community of Navigator schools grows, we're inviting other schools to join the next cohort and become part of the network.

AI Interactive Learning Tools

AI Interactive Learning Tools

We've created a range of AI interactive tools that serve a dual purpose in our learning experiences. First, participants use these tools to practice AI fluency while learning about it—getting hands-on experience with AI as part of the workshop itself.

We're also experimenting with how AI can bring interactivity into online learning. Currently in testing, we're building AI-powered simulations, role-plays, and interactive activities that recreate some of the engagement that happens in our live workshop spaces. This work is as much about our own learning as anything else—building these tools gives us a deeper understanding of the technology, its possibilities, and its limitations. We're learning by making.

Additional School Offerings

AI All-Day

A whole-school opportunity to build AI fluency together

AI All-Day whole-school assembly

For a whole day, students explore what it means to be AI fluent, grapple with AI ethics, and develop responsible approaches to using AI in their academic and personal lives. 20-30 teachers are trained in advance to facilitate small learning groups and all the other teachers are involved in supporting the AI All-Day. At the end of the process, there will be a group of 20-30 teachers with enhanced AI fluency and confidence, ready to champion responsible AI use and support continued AI development across the school.

AI All-Staff

prep • play • plan

AI All-Staff Workshop facilitator

Designed to support Navigator teams or as standalone training, this workshop brings all staff on board around a shared vision for your school's AI journey. Through a three-step process—Prepare, Play, Plan—participants build shared understanding, experiment with tools, and create personal and school-wide plans for ethical, responsible AI use that enhances teaching, learning, and administration.

Keynotes & Short Workshops

Engaging talks and focused sessions

Keynote and workshop speaking

Not every organization needs a full-day workshop. Sometimes you need an engaging keynote, a focused 90-minute session, or a targeted conversation starter that ignites thinking and dialogue around AI. We deliver customized talks and short workshops for conferences, leadership meetings, and professional development days—whether you're a school, corporate, government department, or international organization. Topics range from ethical AI in education to AI fluency for leadership teams, always grounded in practical application and responsible use.

These shorter formats are designed to meet you where you are—sparking curiosity, building foundational understanding, or addressing specific challenges your organization faces with AI integration.

Spotlight

Leading with AI Fluency at Deloitte Greenhouse

In September 2025, we brought together 40 school leaders at Deloitte's Greenhouse in Cape Town for a morning of deep work on AI fluency. Principals, deputy principals, and curriculum leaders from 13 schools across the Western Cape spent three hours grappling with the 4D Framework—Delegation, Description, Discernment, and Diligence—the four key skills that help people work with AI effectively and responsibly, no matter which tools they use.

Using the creative learning space and technology at Deloitte Greenhouse, participants engaged in deep, systemic thinking about AI implementation in their schools while learning from fellow school leaders. They practiced AI fluency hands-on with bespoke AI tools created specifically for the workshop, moving from theory to practice, from individual reflection to collaborative problem-solving.

What Participants Said

"Meeting other colleagues from other schools who are also on the AI in education journey. Discussing and exchanging ideas while problem-solving together. The human connection matters most for me, so that together we overcome the fears and myths around AI and retain the human agency."

Debbie Rowe STEM Coordinator, German International School CT

"The workshop was hugely informative and enjoyable. The interaction with other people from other schools and the excellent presentations made the workshop enjoyable and a great learning experience. I feel slightly more empowered regarding AI."

Caron Olivier Director of Round Square, St George's Grammar School
